Local volunteers also known as "Blanketeers" providing handmade Blankets full of warm & loving hugs to Children going through a crisis in their lives.

These Blankets provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “Blanketeers.”

The Project Linus Mission;
First, to provide security through handmade blankets and afghans to children in need. When the world goes crazy and a child feels like a speck of dust, the gift of a blanket from someone who made it with love and care is huge.
​
Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children. Our Volunteers, are a very important part of our mission. Our "Blanketeers" make everything possible by handmaking and donating blankets to be given to children.
